Unfortunately, our friends never live as long as we want them too and along
the way is always the sad farewells. Every single one of them etched into my brain in their own way. I can honestly say, each
of these dogs had a personality and a character to themselves, none of them being like another, they were all different identities
in their own rights. I am grateful for having had them all in my life and I think back on each of them with a smile for different
reasons. They all taught me something in their own ways and I would never change the experience for a thing except having
them all with me a bit longer. I remember saying to a friend of mine some time back, does it ever get any easier to see them
off, gosh it hurts so much. Why do we keep doing this to ourselves? Her simple reply was - the day it stops hurting is the
day you stop owning them!!
